Kopački rit Nature Park is the largest floodplain in Central Europe between the Drava and Danube rivers. It is a Ramsar site since 1993 and later it becomes part of the Nature2000 network. The Park has a rich biodiversity, whereas the most significant part of the Park is the Special Zoological Reserve and the surrounding area, from where this biodiversity can be observed. Besides marshbirds, other animals can be seen while staying in the Park, like beavers, deer, wild boars, martens, badgers, otters etc. Kopački rit is one of the few protected areas in Europe where one can experience such a unique nature.
Additional activities: birdwatching, photo-safari, boat tours, canoeing, fishing, biking, train tours, hiking.
Working hours: November-March 8 am to 4 pm, April-October from 9 am to 5 pm.
