People have been relishing the taste of various wine sorts from Baranya region for centuries. The first vineyards were planted by Roman emperors. Over the centuries they developed and perfected the wine making process and kept their secrets hidden from others. Even today one can hear similar legends regarding the Romans, wine and wine making in one of the many local wine cellars.
